Renowned jewelry designer Neil Lane announced the opening of his flagship store in Los Angeles.As per lane, "The new store is a dream come true that has been a long time coming,". Designer Neil Lane moved to Los Angeles nearly 20 years ago, operating out of a small counter on Beverly Boulevard. From starting he is an avid collector of fine jewelry, with an eye for designing jewelry exuding both style and elegance.His iconic jewelry has been worn for the Oscars and other red carpet events by some of the most beautiful and influential women in the world, including Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, and many others.

Malaysia International Fashion Week

The Malaysia International Fashion Week (MIFW) scheduled from Nov 26 to 29 at the ballroom in The Gardens Hotel and Residences in Kuala Lumpur, is ready to excite the fashion industry with a line-up of exciting events.


With participants from more than 23 nations, the event is supposed to be an ideal platform for industry designers. In a statement of, MIFA chairman Heah Sieu Lay, the fashion event will feature the hottest fresh faces that have been making a splash in the past few years.

One of the highlights of the MIFW will be the collaboration with the Russian Fashion Week and Global Fashion Alliance (GFA), which will present creations by Serguei Teplov. MIFA is also collaborating with China Bentley Culture Development, which will be bringing in the Chinese entourage that includes designers, media members and buyers.

The highly energetic & visually stunning fashion show celebrates and features seven of Christian Audigier's diverse brands. The show is inspired by Christian's ability to appeal to people of all walks of life with his trendsetting and uplifting designs.

In the show attendees see the spring collections of Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, SMET, Paco Chicano, Crystal Rock, Rock Fabulous and Evel Knievel.

Lindsay Lohan loves her leggings and now she is ready to share them with her fans through blogging. The actress launched her new fashion collection 6126 tonight at Henri Bendel in New York. The multi-talented starlet wrote about her new venture on Lindsay Lohan Blog.

In a statement Lindsay told that "I love to wear leggings, so it should come as no surprise that my first venture into the world of fashion design is with leggings!"

The hollywood actress named the brand, 6126, after Marilyn Monroe's birthday because she says Marilyn represents a "timeless, confident glam and that is the voice of this brand."

Agreement between Fashion Research Institute & IBM

For implementation of first-of-a-kind Virtual World Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Enterprise System IBM has signed a multi-million IBM Global Business Services agreement with the Fashion Research Institute (FRI). This first-of-a-kind system will allow fashion and consumer packaging designers to access and use 3-D tools with the Second Life client interface. In addition it will also connect to the OpenSim virtual world platform to create packaging and fashion products, provide efficient workflow queues, and allow groups with an interest in the product to collaborate and modify designs.

Virgin Islands Fashion Week Organization has officially announced Terry Donovan, International Fashion Event Producer, Style Expert and Fashion Writer as the Production Director of the second Annual Fashion Event which will be held on St. Thomas from October 9 to13.

Virgin Islands Fashion Week is co-founded and directed by young entrepreneurs Vern Tonge and Henry R. Marsham Jr with an objective to promote the creative talents of individuals within the Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean while promoting Fashion Tourism within the sub-region.
